Dr. Michael Korn, along with his lovely wife of 14 years, recently relocated to Arizona from Seattle, bringing along their two beautiful children, aged 8 and 10. Dr. Korn is a Tucson native and graduated from Sabino High School before embarking on a transformative academic journey that included seven enriching years at Northern Arizona University (NAU), where he pursued a Master of Science in Synthetic Organic Chemistry with a focus on antiviral drug synthesis targeting smallpox.
His professional trajectory took shape during his tenure at the Maricopa County Medical Examiner's office, where he delved into toxicology and gained invaluable insights into the effects of drugs and their dosages on mortality. This experience instilled in him a deep commitment to stringent safety protocols and a nuanced understanding of substance abuse.
Dr. Korn's dental education at the University of Southern California (USC) was marked by notable contributions to Dr. Malamed's IV Sedation and Dr. STAT Teams, where he played a pivotal role in teaching local anesthesia and nitrous administration.
